Elementary Program
Our program for the Elementary levels (First to Sixth grade) is distinguished by the professionalism and quality by which each challenge of the educational process is assumed. With the help of formal reading and writing processes the program stimulates the students’ skills and attitudes, further allowing them to develop in an integral way and to internalize habits and knowledge, of increasing complexity, in accordance to their aptitudes and grade level.
As progress is made at different school levels or grades, the school’s program promotes, in all its students, the construction of a personality based on values, greater independence, and sense of responsibility. We pay attention to the physical and emotional changes that occur in preteens; therefore, activities are programmed and the educational process is structured in such a way that prepares them to face their future years of adolescence.
The program of CIBS, at the Primary School level incorporates the National Plan of Studies of the Dominican Republic. It promotes differentiated instruction while respecting the individuality and the learning speed of each student.
